Greenpeace is in East Asia to fight climate change. More specifically, the organization stops toxic pollution, ensures food security, puts an end to illegal deforestation and defends the oceans through its many actions.
Indeed, East Asia has seen serious environmental impacts due to its economic development, which has led Greenpeace to ensure a green development path with the populations of mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and South Korea.
Launched in 2014 by the French Chamber of Commerce, MAKE IT WORK is a charity which helps people in Hong Kong to have access to a community, training, employment services and healthy meals.
At the initiative of the French community of Hong Kong, SLDLP raises awareness among the Hong Kong population about marine pollution. Supported by the Consulate General of France, this group of volunteers is committed to preserving the environment by organizing beach clean-ups.
